About Bridget

Bridget is a Sydney based professional freelance makeup artist who has been in the industry for over 8 years.

Bridget has had a long love affair with make-up beginning as a child when she tried to imitate made up faces seen on the lunch time soaps! After years of experimenting Bridget decided to follow her passion & train to become a qualified make-up artist.

After undertaking & completing a certificate in fashion make-up and receiving a certificate of merit at Auckland’s Samala Robinson Academy (S.R.A). The trainers evidently recognised a talent because they asked Bridget to come back and become a trainer!

Bridget worked at S.R.A as a trainer for 18 months teaching the full time course. She capitalises on these skills in her freelance work. Bridget has experience in many areas including bridal, fashion photo shoots, short film, television, special effects & promotional events but has an enthusiasm for make-up & styling in all forms.

Bridget is NZQA qualified in the following make-up styles:

  • Special Correctives
  • Climatics & Special Effects
  • Many period looks such as; Roman/Greek, Medieval, Renaissance/Elizabethan, Victorian, WWI/WWII
